This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.

My family loved The Lego Movie so my husband and I HAD to be Emmet and Wyldstyle this year! I used cardboard, a roll of 1 inch foam for the heads, fleece for the hair, and a lot of colored duck tape! Cut apart can koozies for the hands topped off the costumes! Estimated total cost for both costumes was $50. Well worth it! We had a blast wearing them! It was "awesome!"
